Cancel and Reschedule Policy
Cancelation and Rescheduling Policy
Our Philosophy
LiveWire classes involve a significant amount of preparation and planning by our staff to ensure a high quality event for our clients. This can include customizing courseware, reserving or purchasing equipment, software, training material, and scheduling personnel. When situations arise, that require a client to cancel or reschedule classes, we will do all we can to minimize the impact on everyone involved. In the end, however, some fees to the clients may be incurred. Below is what our clients can expect when they need to cancel or reschedule a class.
What we need from the client
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be received, in writing to avoid paying full course or rescheduling fees. If a contract is in place, the terms of the contract will take precedence.
Cancellation or rescheduling requests can be emailed or mailed. If emailing, please follow up with a phone call within 24 hours, if no response from Livewire is received to ensure the request was received. If sending by mail, please send Return Receipt Requested as evidence of the time when the request was received by LiveWire.
Classes at the client’s location, using client equipment
Private classes conducted at the client site using client equipment must be canceled or rescheduled at least 10 business days prior to the training date. Clients who cancel or rescheduled with less than 10 days’ notice, agree to be responsible for the full price of the class. If the class is rescheduled to run within 90 calendar days of the original class date, LiveWire will credit 50% of LiveWire’s fee towards the newly scheduled class.
Classes at a training center
When renting a training facility, equipment, or services from a third party, the client will be responsible for the full price of these items according to the terms of the third party. In addition, LiveWire requires at least 10 business days’ notice of cancelation or rescheduling of our training services. Clients who cancel or rescheduled with less than 10 days’ notice, agree to be responsible for the full price of the class. If the class is rescheduled to run within 90 calendar days of the original class date, LiveWire will credit 50% of LiveWire’s fee towards the newly scheduled class. Third party expenses are not included in the credit.
Travel Fees
LiveWire trainers will travel up to a 70 mile radius from Front Royal, VA at no extra cost. Classes outside this radius, may include travel fees. These can include a per mile fee, transportation fees (such as airline, taxi, or car rental), hotel, per Diem, and other fees agreed to between LiveWire and client. Fees charged by third parties, such as airlines, hotels, and auto rental companies must be paid in advance and may be non-refundable. If a class is canceled or rescheduled by the client, the client will be not be reimbursed for non-refundable third party fees.
Course Customization
Course customization fees are non-refundable, but customized content may be used by the client at any time without additional cost. Customization fees start at $50/hour for writing and development, with a two hour minimum. Prepayment may be requested when an order is placed, depending on the project. Please speak with a LiveWire consultant regarding your custom project for details.
